Also offers an alternative approach to full-optical routers.
Status: Experimental study of basic principles.
OptiMedia Nonlinear media -- Optically active media based on highly ordered nano-structured lattices. This media should provide interaction of independent photons (or, primary, tiny light rays) through interaction with themselves. Primary applications are optical transistors, computing and routers (for internet acceleration), smart optics and 3D-displays.
Status: Nano-structuring of different candidate materials.
Rays2Volts Nano-enhanced solar cells -- Low-cost light films, able to convert light to electricity at competitive rates. Useful for roofs, walls, aerospace, cars, tourism, and even local power plants.
Status: Studying flexible photonic crystals and methods for fractal nanowire network manufacturing.
NanoJets Chemical micro-engines -- Family of smart microsize chemical engines -including combustion and jet principles- for nanoscale satellites and flying micro-robotics. Target markets are aerospace, household flying robotics, UAVs and even toys.
Status: Building test models.
Thin Air Electricity Wireless mobile chargers -- Tiny devices for wireless charging of mobile device accumulators. This system works by detecting and capturing neighboring electromagnetic field fluctuations. Such are abundant in any modern office or home. Notebook or cell-phone owners can dramatically extend untethered device autonomy.
